Suzan Ljungemo, International Sales Director in Moelven Export Sales AB, is appointed the Knight of the Order of the Wood Market. The prize is awarded by Swedish Wood to individuals who contribute in exceptional ways to the industry's development. “I am honored to receive the award for developing new markets for Scandinavian timber in Asia”, says Ljungemo.
The prize has been awarded since 1962 during Trämarknaden, also known as Karlstad Wood Conference, and Suzan Ljungemo is the second woman to receive it.
"It's a great privilege to be able to pave the way for Moelven's quality timber products in Asia. Our business partners deserve the best timber, and we are delighted that the interest for Scandinavian timber is increasing", states the newly knighted Suzan Ljungemo.

The 2018 knight has in an exemplary way - with key knowledge and a strong customer orientation - built a new market to benefit not only their own company but an entire industry.
In addition, she has generously shared her experiences and contributed constructively to guiding and managing common market initiatives of great importance to the timber market. With her humble, yet strong goal-oriented work, she is a good representative of our industry and a worthy recipient and good role model.
Suzan's work is a great inspiration to all of us.
